This is a short summary of our Statement of Faith. A statement of faith falls short of the reality of the intimate knowledge of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us. When the Lord Jesus came into the world, it was God's voice - the Word - became flesh. We read the Bible because God speaks to each of us through it.
The divine inspiration and supreme authority of the Word of God – fully trustworthy for faith and daily life.
The one true God who lives eternally in three persons – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
The love, grace and sovereignty of God in creating, sustaining, judging ruling, and redeeming the world.
The justification of sinners solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ.
God the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, Who became man, born of the virgin Mary; truly divine and truly human, yet without sin.
The sinless life of the Lord Jesus, and his miracles. He is the full and final revelation of God and God’s nature
The atoning sacrifice of Christ on the cross: dying in our place, paying the price of sin and defeating evil, reconciling us with God.
The bodily resurrection of Christ, his ascension into Heaven, our High Priest, Lord and Advocate
The personal visible return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
God the Holy Spirit, who leads us to repentance, unites us with Christ through new birth, empowers our spiritual worship, godly living and service.
The church, the body of Christ, born when the Holy Spirit was sent at Pentecost
The dignity of all people, made male and female in God’s image to love, be holy and care for creation, yet all have sinned and are lost, already under condemnation and unable to save themselves or earn God's favour
